About OYMT

The Orthodox Youth Mission Team consists of high school students from multiple Orthodox parishes in CT, NY and NJ.  We will be participating in a youth mission project in July 2017, traveling to Alaska to do mission work with the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC).

The Orthodox Youth Mission Team will fundraising throughout the year to cover the expenses associated with the trip. We will prepare for our work in Alaska by serving as a team on a day-long repair project at our respective churches. We also participate in bible studies, sensitivity training and construction training sessions to ensure that the work we perform is done right and will have a lasting impact.

We need your help to make a lasting dent in Alaskan poverty. Here’s what you can do:
